- Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.

I would say it was a dream I developed over time. I never really knew modeling was or could be a full time career but my obsession with fashion and hope to be a model started around 16 when I started exploring fashion and the history of different houses and working on my own personal style because it gave me confidence within myself I never really had before. I just grew up in such a rural area modeling seemed so far fetched to me for awhile because I had no idea where to start. Then when COVID hit some years later I did a deep dive on that career path and learned a close friend of mines sister was a model, she gave me all the information I needed to succeed and just start out so I looked for a Mother Agent. I found this (at the time new) account on Instagram called The Mother Agents (shoutout Greg Chan) where he was curating The Mother Agents website of now so many renounced agencies but there were maybe 10 on there at the time, one of them being Signed and also being the only MA closest to Boston. I applied on a whim out of excitement and without looking at the board, nailed my first meeting down with my lovely Agent Erin, then she offered me a contract the next day and only then did I realize I also came to be the first male model she ever represented in a previously female only agency. All of the girls I’ve come to know from Signed are some of my best friends now and like sisters to me and having that support system has pushed me immensely in so many positive directions.

- What are your favorite forms of self care and why?

Recently it’s been reading, thanks to my girlfriend for helping to reignite that passions and joy I have for it again. When I’m really stressed out and my thoughts are clouded there’s nothing better than laying in my room and just zoning out to a new book you enjoy. My other favorite form of self care is eating but in an experiential manner. I’ve been really into tasting menus lately and letting the chefs at these restaurants I find curate the experience because you’re not going to find these foods or cooking styles just anywhere and every time you try it at a new place it’s going to even more unique than the last.

- What other passions do you have aside from modeling?

Honestly that’s a great question. I think one of the things I’m most passionate about is self improvement, as silly as that sounds. At the end of the day I really love learning! Especially when it comes to learning about other people, their lives and experiences and how I can learn from that, connect with them and better myself as well. All it really takes is truly listening to gain another bright perspective.
