Face Terms and Conditions for Email and SMS Messaging

Welcome to Face! By providing your email address and/or phone number and opting in to receive messages from Face, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding email and SMS communication. Please read these terms carefully before consenting.

1. Consent to Email and SMS Communications

By submitting your email address and/or phone number, you agree to receive electronic communications from Face, including but not limited to:

  • Product updates and announcements
  • Promotional offers and exclusive deals
  • Community news and industry insights
  • Customer support and transactional messages

You understand that providing your contact information is voluntary, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

2. Opting Out of Emails and SMS Messages

You may opt out of receiving non-essential emails by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any Face email or by contacting us at help@facecardhq.com. To stop receiving SMS messages, reply "STOP" to any message you receive from us. However, you may still receive necessary transactional emails and messages related to your Face account and services.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Face follows industry-standard security practices to protect your personal information.

4. Message Frequency

We strive to provide valuable content without overwhelming your inbox or phone. The frequency of messages may vary, but you can expect communications on a periodic basis, depending on your engagement and preferences.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We may use third-party email and SMS service providers to deliver messages on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and use it solely for communication delivery purposes.

6. User Responsibilities

By opting in, you acknowledge that:

  • You own or have permission to use the provided email address and phone number.
  • You will not mark our emails or SMS messages as spam without cause.

7. Message and Data Rates May Apply

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. You are responsible for any fees associated with receiving SMS messages from Face.

8. Changes to These Terms

Face reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our email and SMS services after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.

Joining the waitlist for the Face Card (“Card”) does not guarantee that you will be eligible to receive the card. Geographical and regulatory restrictions will apply.

* Eligible rewarded categories will accrue 5 points for every dollar spent (5x points). Categories include – fashion, wellness, health, fitness, beauty, social media, and ad spend. Points upgrade is calculated and applied after the end of each statement period on eligible settled transactions within your top spend category based on dollar amount. Outside of the top spend category, settled transactions for products and services provided by merchants and/or categories not subject to another points multiplier, will accrue 1 point for every dollar spent (1x points) after the applicable billing cycle.

The Face Card has no annual fees, but some fees may apply, including out-of-network ATM fees, late payment fees, and other fees. For more information, please see the Cardholder Agreement and Deposit Account Agreement.

On-time payment history may have a positive impact on the credit score, while late payments may negatively impact it. We report payment history to Experian and Equifax. Credit impact may vary based on a number of factors, including the financial decisions that are made with other financial services organizations.
