- Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
I started out in musical theater and music when I was very young, which naturally led me into some acting as well. Modeling actually came much later. I never really considered it, or even believed I was capable of it. I always thought being “discovered” was how it happened. But after hearing from so many people that I should give it a try, I finally did… and here we are. Five years in, still learning, still growing, and genuinely loving the journey.
- What are your favorite forms of self care and why?
I definitely get stressed, and I’m naturally a bit of an anxious person, especially when I’m juggling everything I do: music, creating content, modeling, and acting. Working out has become one of my biggest forms of release. It not only makes me feel good physically, but it helps me manage my stress and clear my head.
Therapy has also been a huge part of my growth. It helped me dive deeper into my emotions and learn how to shift my mindset, both in my personal life and my work life. Modeling, especially, involves so much more than people think.
I’m also trying to incorporate more meditation as part of my self-care. And honestly, the biggest thing that helps is practicing kindness toward myself reminding myself that I’m doing the best I can. That simple mindset shift makes all the difference.
- What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
Music has always been my first passion. I’ve been singing and performing in musicals and plays since I was very young, and my entire childhood revolved around it. Even now, while I model, create content, and navigate different parts of the industry, music remains at the core of who I am.
I’m currently working on creating my own music and exploring that side of the industry. I also teach music, which I genuinely love. Being so active in the music world and sharing what I’ve learned with my students lets me relive that same excitement I felt when I was young. Seeing their spark reminds me exactly why I fell in love with music in the first place.
