- Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.

I didn't grow up thinking I would become a model, I was just some big chick who played basketball. But then as I started growing into my looks. I started looking into the possibility of making this into a real job. It's a great pathway for my real interest of the fashion world. I don't have a romantic story of how I got discovered. I took some digitals , sent them over to a couple ( a lot) of different agencies, shopped around for what best suited me, and landed at Scout.

- What are your favorite forms of self care and why?

I have a lot but my favorite of all time is that block button. BLOCKED..... so therapeutic not about to ruin my peace. Second would be body and facial care , having "spa nights". Where you pamper yourself free from everything, because it is that damn phone. The gym of course! You're telling me that If I do something beneficial for my health I'll live a long time and have the most banging body. Sign me up! And lastly but most importantly being in nature. It's something about being grounded, having all senses in tune with mother, simply jovial.

- What other passions do you have aside from modeling?

I enjoy making clothes, I mostly alter clothes now, it's quick and easy but i'm starting up my creative juices again and i'm cooking up some good stuff. Finding my spirituality has turned into a new passion of mine. This maybe silly to some people but who cares, I didn't grow up with religious backgrounds, which I appreciate but wish I had more guidance in figuring out who to believe in. As I've matured I always knew that there were higher powers but did not believe in the ideologies that were behind man made religions. With all that being said i'm passionate about finding myself. I haven't lived a lot of life yet but from what I've gone through ,and through the people who've shaped a piece of me. I can say I have a passion for fashion. One of my favorite memories as a child was going to Nordstrom with my Aunty and Mom and walking around in heels playing dress up. Then playing with Bratz, and Barbies who has the cutest of accessories and clothes. Honestly, having my own Brats Doll would be a dream of mine. Also I could say I have a passion for clothes. They are just so cool to me. They are an extension of you. They speak before you do, everything that we wear we choose for a reason. Clothes give me security, individuality, sexuality, and confidence just to name a few. When I look good I feel good.
